Who Is This Event For?
Join us in Winnipeg (Nov 20–22) for a special Family Matters Workshop & Facilitator Training for those with a deep desire to strengthen families in their First Nations communities.
The heart of the weekend is for you to experience the full six-session Family Matters video workshop for yourself, receiving its help and hope firsthand, and then be trained to facilitate the video workshop for others in your community back home.
You’ll journey through the workshop with others over the weekend and have a facilitator training on Saturday evening to help prepare you to use Family Matters to bless families in your community.
If you’re a local parent, grandparent or caregiver, you’re also welcome to attend simply to experience the workshop for yourself.
What is Family Matters?
Family Matters is a six-session video-based workshop created by a team of Indigenous leaders for Indigenous families. Through honest stories, shared wisdom, biblical truth and practical teaching, you’ll explore ways to build stronger, healthier relationships in your family.
Across the six sessions, you’ll consider what it means to create a home where everyone feels safe, loved no matter what, called and capable, and responsible for their actions.
You’ll also explore how faith in Jesus can bring lasting hope, healing and strength to family relationships. Through the video sessions, Indigenous leaders share from their own experiences and offer practical encouragement you can apply in everyday life.

Workshop Fee
Early bird rate until October 25th — $75/person
Early Bird Bonus: Get Your Second Hotel Night Free! Every Early Bird registration includes a complimentary second hotel night.
Regular Rate - $100/person
Registration includes workbooks, coffee and some light snacks.

Room booking deadline: Thursday, November 5th.
When booking your hotel, a credit card is required to guarantee your reservation and you may initially be charged for both nights. The charge for your second night will be reversed on-site during the weekend while you are attending the workshop.
