In this three-and-a-half-hour interactive workshop, we come alongside pastors and lay leaders to present the ingredients of a thriving marriage ministry. You’ll come away with your own custom roadmap, with ideas and resources to start a marriage ministry or lead the one you have to greater fruitfulness.
To get the most out of this workshop, we recommend attending with two or three others from your church who alsohave a heart to strengthen marriages. If a pastor, elder, or ministry leader from your church is among your group, they can provide valuable insight and support.

Matt lives in Kelowna BC with his amazing wife Josie and three adventurous teenage boys. After 20 years of pastoral ministry in different roles, from youth pastor, connections and associate pastor, he joined FamilyLife Canada where he works with Josie as regional representatives in the BC interior. Together they love to encourage couples and families. Matt enjoys getting out to ride motorbikes, playing guitar and is becoming an avid disc golf player.
Rennier is on staff with FamilyLife Canada as the Director of Intercultural Ministry. He and Jeaneth were married in 1994 and have three young adult kids. They just welcomed a daughter-in-law last year and are looking forward to being grandparents down the road (fingers crossed, God willing).
They consider their reconciliation story a second-chance gift from God and are passionate about helping marriages in their community and all across Canada! Watch their story. Ren is a self-declared pickleball addict and loves using this sport as a platform to engage people in conversations about Jesus, faith, and marriage ministry!
Lydia and her husband Gilbert have been married for over 35 years and have three amazing young adults in their family. They are Regional Representatives for FamilyLife Canada for the Greater Vancouver Area.
